Killing two birds so to speak!

Both CBC and DCM had fab challenges and I decided to join them together to make my card....Wings and Blooms..............

I used Black Tie Bling Blooms from the Bazzill Collection, brads are from papermania, the stamp is from Tanda Stamps, ink from Stazon, standard black card stock and blue glitter paper is unknown.

P.s Peacocks do fly and therefore have wings.....they are known to roost in trees in the evenings to keep away from predators!

Thinking of You

I have used the 'recipe' from Crafts by Carolyn for RCS010 - which was make a cut - it could be any theme, but the card needed to be cut in some way......

So I rummaged through some of my stamps and came across this lady - she is from Tanda Stamps Art Deco range (Art Deco Set 1 - R-ADE1) - I stamped her with black stazon onto a gloss card, I then used a speed ball roller to colour her using an Adirondack ink pad called Autumn Sunset. Once the ink had dried I used a water pen to remove some of the colour from her face, hands, roses, and some clouds. I folded a A4 card in forest green, using my fiskars shape cutter (yes I am one of the few that can use it!) I cut a semi circle out of the front of the card, and using the fiskars again I cut my lady out using a smaller circular template. I then added a paler card stock to make her stand out , and added some peel offs and ribbon - the holes for which I punched out and added gold eyelets.

This is my first relatively successful brayering attempt, not to shabby if I do say so myself...but needs practice lots more practice!

Eggbox Challange from the Crafts by Carolyn forum

Just a little bit of fun - I got soooooo messy with this challenge - its a simple egg box which I have painted pink, yellow, green, purple, blue, and peach pearlesent - and then using my computer software I found some Easter themed creatures - printed them out onto card and cut them out and stuck them onto and into the box - I have a little girl in mind for this - I am sure she will enjoy it once I fill it up a bit more with some little choci eggs!

Wildlife - CbC template 21 challange

This card was made using a template from http://www.craftsbycarolyn.co.uk/ which is a great forum that sets different challanges for its members. I used Rouge de Garance papers in the 'fleur de chine' range, one paper as cut to the size of the square card and then a different paper from the same range was ripped and placed on top. I used brads in a green pale yellow and black to frame the Wildlife sticker which is from the DCWV 'Sayings' sticker stack - A Guy Thing.
