I want to thank all of you that have emailed me or left messages of support, you have no idea how comforting they have been. Mum is hanging in there, she has her good days and her bad days, but the staff in the 4B Ward in the Regional Hospital in Limerick Ireland have been fantastically supportive to her and to us.
All we can do is pray, remember the good times and hope that this final journey is not painful.

OK, I want to talk to you about your bum...oh the shock...did she say BUM....yep she definitely did!
No, I don't care that your bum is pert, or big, or made of cottage cheese....what I care about is that you make sure you are aware of the signs of that something MIGHT be wrong, and that you do something about it. 1 in 18 of us, will suffer from Bowel Cancer, 50 people die everyday from Bowel Cancer in the UK alone, 655,000 die a year world wide......and if caught early enough it is completely curable.
