Summer is partially blind so I wanted to make sure that the card had plenty of dimension and texture but was simply. The image is from Pink Cat Studio, which I coloured in using Zig markers and iridescent glitter glue and then to add some more texture I used some 3D Crystal Lacquer. The image was then mounted onto foam pads. Using my Cuttlebug I embossed the front of the card with a design of circles and flowers. I filled some of the indentations with iridescent glue to give it a bit more dimension. I then added some yellow gingham ribbon across the front, which I tied in a simple knot. I used a vibrant yellow 5 by 5 card as my base.
Samantha’s card is made from an image I got from Pink Cat Studio, which I coloured in using Zig markers and iridescent glitter glue. The image was mounted on pink glitter card from DCWV, then onto some stripy cardstock taken from Nanna’s Kids by DCWV, and then onto some more pink glitter card. I used a lovely girly pink 5 by 5 card as my base. All the corners were cornered using a corner punch.
Niamh card is made from an image I got from Pink Cat Studio, which I coloured in using Zig markers and iridescent glitter glue. The image was mounted on yellow glitter card from DCWV and then I placed some yellow silk tape across the front of glitter and stripy cardstock taken from Nanna’s Kids by DCWV. I used a vibrant orange 5 by 5 card as my base. All the corners were cornered using a corner punch.
For Daniels card I used a stamp from Tanda – its on a stamp sheet with loads of cowboys and Indians images and great for men/boys. I stamped the image using black stazon, coloured the image in using Zig markers, mounted it onto paper from Making Memories called Cheeky Collection – Emery, the blue ribbon is from Dovecraft and finally it was all mounted on a vibrant blue 5 by 5 card.
Jessica’s card is made from an image I got from Pink Cat Studio, which I coloured in using Zig markers and iridescent glitter glue. The image was mounted on some black and then green glitter card from DCWV and then I placed some green silk tape across the front of the card on to which I mounted the image and the glitter card. I used a vibrant yellow 5 by 5 card as my base. All the corners were cornered using a corner punch.

Joe is a sibling of one of the post pals – it must be hard for him as well to see his sibling go through what they are. For Joe’s card I used a stamp from Tanda – its on a stamp sheet with loads of cowboys and Indians images and great for men/boys. I stamped the image using black Stazon, coloured the image in using Zig markers, mounted it onto paper from Making Memories called Cheeky Collection – Emery, the Independence embellishment is from my stash and I can’t remember where from (sorry) finally all are mounted on a red 5 by 5 card.

Oh the kiddies are going to be absolutely chuffed to bits! All the cards are fab and sure to put a bounce in their step!
Lovely cards as always.

Wow you have been busy. The kids are going to love these cards they are all great!
These are great and what a lovely thing to do! I'm rubbish at kids' cards but the recipients of yours are going to be delighted, I'm sure!
Thanks for the Banana Frog suggestion on the stamps used on my DCM foiled card. Looks like BF only do clear stamps though so that rules them out (these are traditional red rubber). The search goes on!
I just followed your link to find out about Postpals - it should be .co.uk not .com by the look of it (.com is a site offering construction services!).
Thanks I have changed it now! bit of a doh!moment
